Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Executive is responsible to oversee the company’s overall training requirements and support in the development and delivery of programmes to all levels of employees to bridge performance gaps, meet operational, industry and legislative requirements, enhance employees’ development and train new recruits to the required standard to enable them to positively engage with the company. This position is also responsible for the coordination of the performance management process of the company, talent management program and employee engagement initiatives.

Contribute to & Execute HR Training and Development Strategy for the organisation

• Plan, develop and execute the training strategies for the company together with the HR Manager
• Liaise with the management team to develop a training plan following a structured training needs analysis on an annual basis
• Support the development of talent pipeline by managing any apprenticeship and internship programs that the company may enter
Training
• Support in the development, design of the induction and skill-based training programs; ensuring that where internal employees are delivering the training, they are suitable qualified to do so
• Manage relationship with training suppliers, both local and overseas, and work in partnership to ensure value in the provision of training initiatives
• Prepare and maintain reports on training delivered, and develop feedback reports for management
• Carry out evaluation on all training initiatives so that the value of training can be assessed
Performance & Talent Management
• Support in the development of the performance management system and governance process for the performance management process
• Assist and train managers and other employees in the use of performance management tools and the performance management process
• Manage the administration of the performance management system, ensuring that the process is completed, and practices are complied with
• Support in the development of talent management process, and governance for the talent management system
• Support in the development of a succession management system
• Manage audit requirements pertaining to training records
Budget
• In partnership with the HR Manager, support in the planning and management of budgets, including preparation of annual Training budget plan.
• Manage application for funding under the various available scheme available for training and development programs under the set criteria
Key accountabilities / responsibilities
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Psychology or other related course of studies.
Experience
• +3years’ experience in a similar position preferably in the FMCG/manufacturing sector.
• Experience in dealing with complex Employee Relations issues
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of HR Processes and Policies
• Solid knowledge of employment legislation and Industrial relations
• Knowledge of office software
• Previous training development/coordination experience
