We are actively receiving applications for Business Developers to join a leading, well-established IT services firm in Malta. The successful candidate will be expected to discover and pursue new sales prospects, encouraging existent customer to purchase added products or features, negotiating deals and remaining abreast of our offerings and products.

Duties

Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing
Familiarising yourself with all products and services offered by our company
Conducting market research and, competition studies and analysis to identify selling
possibilities and target markets
Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and
social media.
Maintaining and updating sales, marketing and business development documentation
Maintaining customer activities in CRM
Attending networking events, exhibitions and conferences to attract and retain
customers
Building positive and long-lasting business relationships with current and potential
customers and the respective key decision makers
Communicating with customers to understand their needs and suggest solutions
Preparing and delivering pitches and customised presentations for each customer’s
specific business needs
Growing business through the development of new leads and contacts, and
suggesting upgrades and added products and services that may be of interest to
existing customers
Maintaining a professional relationship with our Vendors and Suppliers
Collaborating with management on quarterly and yearly sales targets

Requirements

A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration or a
relevant field
Proven experience as a Business Development Executive, Sales Executive or similar role
Fluent use of the English and Maltese languages, both written and spoken
Ability to both prioritise tasks and multitask
Strong organisational and time management skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Ability to work under pressure, against tight deadlines and abide to strict targets
Thorough understanding of sales and negotiation techniques
Enthusiastic to build credible and professional working relationships with people
Must be an excellent team player and respond well to constructive feedback
Professional yet affable disposition
Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Beneficial to have

Hands-on experience with CRM software
Past knowledge and experience on any of our products and services
Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
