The qualifications, experience and/or training required for this job are:

Degree in Computer Science

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role Advanced knowledge of Power Bl, SSRS and SSIS

Advanced knowledge in Microsoft SQL and Excel power query Fluent in both written and spoken English

Excellent Communication Skills

DA 100 Microsoft Examination Certificate will be considered a great asset MCSA: SQL Database Development will be considered a great asset Knowledge in python, R script and C# will be considered an asset

Detailed Job Description

Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s reporting infrastructure which include;

•             Development of the data warehouse and any ancillary elements,

•             Development and maintenance of the ETL processes,

•             Development of company wide standardised reports,

•             Performance    tuning     and    optimisation     of    the    company’s                         reporting infrastructure,

•            The development of ad hoc reports escalated from Business Support,

•            The development of ERP reports and notifications that are required for the day-to-day operations,

•            The documentation of the company’s reporting infrastructure,

•             Administration and monitoring of the company’s Bl infrastructure,

•            Gathering   requirements    and translating business needs into technical specifications.
